Utopia is a series of illuminated photographic light boxes installed in the waiting areas of St Luke’s Critical Care Department at Cheltenham and Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. They each create a series of illusory views through the waiting room walls onto a rural vista that has been subtly altered to create a scene that cannot be matched to any actual English landscape.
